Warmer Winter On Waterloo Thanks To Tower Block Work

Residents in two Romford tower blocks will now enjoy warmer and greener homes in the future thanks to a home improvement scheme utilising energy efficient coating systems.

William Pike House and Thomas England House, in Waterloo Gardens, date back to the 1960’s and have recently been redecorated with the Nu-Guard NRG Clear and Nu-Guard NRG Colour Systems. Nu-Guard NRG Clear has been applied to all the external brickwork and concrete panels. Nu-Guard NRG Colour has been applied to all of the painted concrete ring beams and panels.

The residents will benefit from warmer homes and the improvements will mean savings in energy bills for many years to come.



New and Improved Graffiti Remover

Due to the new Government Legislation which has banned the use of Dichloromethane, Hydron have now produced a new formulation for the AG4 Graffiti Remover.

Tests have been carried out with great success and the AG4 Graffiti Remover is now available for supply.



Fire Protection at Whitemoor Lakes

Hydron have recently supplied their Nu-Flame Clear Impregnation coating to Whitemoor Lakes, part of Action Centre UK, which is two miles North of Lichfield, Staffordshire.

Action Centres UK has developed some of the finest residential and activity facilities of any youth association, with its modern Conference Centres, wide ranging and wonderfully equipped Activity Centres together catering for well over a hundred thousand people every year.

In the region of 3000m2 of the internal timber has been treated to provide a Class 0 Surface Spread of Flame. The Nu-Flame Clear Impregnation was applied by FH Harvey & Sons Ltd, who are a family run commercial decorating contractor with over 40 years decorating experience.



Face Lift In Grosvenor Square

The front and side elevantions of 48 Grosvenor Square have recently been refurbished.

The brickwork and stone was cleaned and sealed with Nu-Cryl WRS, to protect the exposed side elevations from adverse weather conditions.

The work was carried out by Hartwell Interior Decorators Ltd who specialise in the refurbishment and decoration of properties throughout London.
